Welcome to (NOW) Academy Grades K-12

The New Open World (NOW) Academy develops globally-minded, technologically proficient students who achieve academic excellence, recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, and are life-long learners. NOW Academy provides necessary technological tools and assistance that ensure students meet the California State Standards, and A G course requirements for college admission. Students use online access to view textbooks and the general education curriculum, produce assignments, take assessments, create projects and portfolios, and communicate with teachers and peers. Multilingual instruction in English, Spanish and Korean begins as early as kindergarten. Beyond academics, students participate in yearly community services/ service learning projects as well as internships, work experience, outdoor education (ECHO) programs, College Readiness programs, and other off-site opportunities.
