Enrollment & Partnersips

RFK is a community school and all students must live in the attendance area or must request a permit if outside of the Zone of Choice enrollment area. Kinder students starting the new school year must turn 5 years old by September 2nd.
 
To enroll:
  • Visit the Welcome Center to determine your Home School
  • Show proof of address: Gas/Electric bill, Rental Agreement, or Government ID
  • Fill out an application
  • If you are transferring from another district please bring your transcripts
  • If you are receiving Special Education Services please bring a current IEP
 
We will make every effort to accommodate your request for a particular school however assignments are based on space availability. 9th grade students who live in our attendance area and attend Young Oak Kim Academy or Berendo MS will complete an online application at their middle school. All other students will who live in our attendance area will receive an application through mail. If you did not receive an application print one out by visiting the RFK Zone of Choice website.

How do I enroll a student at the RFK Community Schools?
 

Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools is comprised of six schools on one campus. 

  • Ambassador School of Global Education (K-5th grade)
  • Ambassador School of Global Leadership (6th-12th grade)
  • New Open World Academy (K-12th grade)
  • UCLA Community Schools (K-12th grade)
  • Los Angeles High School of the Arts (9th-12th grade)
  • School for the Visual Arts and Humanities (9th-12th grade)
